FOLD Spare Parts

For repairs and the long-term serviceability of your FOLD, we help you identify suitable spare parts and compatible components.

For safety-relevant repairs, use only original spare parts or components expressly approved by AVNSON GmbH or the relevant component manufacturer.

1. Finding the correct spare part

To identify the correct spare part, we may need several details about your FOLD.

  • FOLD model and specification
  • frame number
  • purchase date or approximate model year
  • affected component
  • brief description of the issue
  • clear photos of the component and installation area

2. FOLD-specific spare parts

FOLD-specific components are supplied through AVNSON GmbH or authorized FOLD dealers. Depending on the model, these may include components of the folding mechanism, locking elements, steering column, cable steering system, kickstand and FOLD accessory or mounting parts.

Not every component is identical across all models or model years. Compatibility must be clearly confirmed before ordering or installation.

3. Third-party components

For components made by Bosch, Shimano, Gates, Supernova, Schwalbe and other suppliers, the relevant manufacturer specifications, spare-part approvals and service procedures also apply.

A FOLD dealer can identify the correct version and, where required, arrange the order or repair through the relevant manufacturer or service network.

4. Safety-relevant components

Work on safety-relevant assemblies must be carried out professionally. These include, in particular:

  • folding joints, locks, locking pins and clamping levers
  • cable steering system and steering components
  • braking system and hydraulic components
  • wheels, axles and safety-relevant fasteners
  • electric drive system, battery, wiring and electronic components

5. Wear parts

Wear parts must be inspected regularly and replaced when required depending on use, mileage and operating conditions.

  • brake pads and brake rotors
  • tires and tubes
  • belt and sprockets
  • bearings and other moving wear points
  • grips and other components subject to use-related wear

The technical specifications and approvals for the relevant FOLD model and component manufacturer must be observed when selecting replacement parts.

6. No unauthorized modifications

Structural modifications, unapproved components or improperly performed repairs can impair the function, safety and conformity of your FOLD.

Do not select replacement parts solely because their dimensions or appearance seem similar. Technical approval for the relevant component and model is decisive.
