As a passionate cyclist, FOLD founder Sahabi Arouna swears by the versatility of cargo bikes. There was only one thing that bothered him about his everyday life on a cargo bike in Hamburg’s cramped Schanzenviertel district: they are too big for public transport, too bulky to store in the apartment and too long to put in the car. For Sahabi, it was clear that if my cargo bike was to integrate seamlessly into everyday life, it had to be more compact.

That was the initial idea behind the development of the FOLD. It can be reduced to a compact format in two simple steps without compromising on functionality. On the contrary.
