Using Fold the right way.
Fold is a full-size cargo bike that folds compact. This guide explains how to use its folding function and modularity at home, during transport and when travelling.

On the road, Fold remains a full-size cargo bike – stable, capable and developed for everyday use.
The folding function reduces the space it needs. Its modular design also helps reduce weight and volume when handling or transporting the bike.
Store it compactly.
One of Fold’s biggest advantages becomes clear after the ride: folded, the cargo bike needs significantly less storage space.
We recommend folding Fold completely and parking it on the dedicated stand in its folded position.

Push it unfolded whenever space allows.

Thanks to the cable steering system and up to 75° steering angle, Fold is highly manoeuvrable and fits unfolded into many elevators.

Transport it more compactly.
Folded, Fold is significantly shorter and can therefore be integrated more easily into a car, camper or suitable rear carrier solution.
Before loading, the modular design lets you reduce weight and volume where useful.

Travel more comfortably with a little planning.
Fold creates new possibilities for taking a full-size cargo bike on the train. It still remains a robust cargo bike when folded and should not be confused with a small, lightweight folding bike.
Allow a little more time for boarding, leaving the train and transfers, and use the folding function primarily where space is limited.

- Be considerate of fellow passengers
- Use bicycle or multi-purpose areas on regional trains whenever possible
- Use suitable bicycle holders or hanging systems when Fold can be secured there safely
- Always keep doors, escape routes and walkways clear
- For longer routes to the platform, push Fold unfolded whenever possible
